I decided to explore creating prints showing the dispersion of ink across the page. I did this by creating mono prints on a glass table using oil paint and Zest It as a resistant. I had to be careful with the amount of ink and Zest It that I used as it would smudge the print. I also used thick acetate sheets to transfer the print onto pieces of paper. This enabled me to make compositions of splats using different colour combinations. I may develop this method by printing onto acetate itself and layering the sheets to make prints with depth. I love the shapes that are created in these prints. Also the variety of tone with is layered up with the numerous times I printed onto the paper.
